Train for Success with Sarah Walker (MSc)

Accredited UK Athletics Running Coach and Sport and Exercise Biomechanist

With over 15 years’ experience in coaching and a robust academic background in Sports Science and Biomechanics, I help athletes train with purpose, move efficiently, and enjoy the process. My practice centres around strength development, injury prevention, nutritional support, and endurance progression - all tailored to meet each athlete’s unique goals.

A distinctive transition in my career has been adopting hybrid coaching: a flexible blend of face-to-face and online guidance that supports athletes wherever they’re based. After relocating from Yorkshire to Cornwall in 2024,

this approach has allowed me to continue working closely with clubs and individuals, both locally and remotely.

As a lifelong endurance athlete, I bring both a scientific eye and lived experience to the coaching journey.

My work is shaped by ongoing professional development and research into long-distance performance and injury mechanisms - especially within running and triathlon. Whether you’re just starting out or training for advanced events, my aim is to help you build lasting strength, confidence, and resilience.

She is friendly, approachable, attentive and supportive whilst giving you stretching targets to help you achieve your goals. I'm so glad I found her."
